U-Seals

U-Seals are versatile sealing components used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems on both rods and pistons. Their distinctive "U" shaped cross-section prevents fluid leakage by creating a tight seal between moving parts, such as the piston and cylinder bore or the rod and cylinder head. When pressure is applied, the fluid or gas enters the U-shaped cavity, forcing the lips to expand outward, creating a tighter seal against the opposing surfaces.
